Childrens Programs

For Children : Monthly Programs on Sundays at 3:00…usually the third Sunday of the month.

Monthly Programs start in September and go through May.

Programs include a story, a craft and a snack.

ABC Mouse is available at the library. From Age of Learning, Inc., the award-winning curriculum is designed to help young children (ages 2-7+) build a strong foundation for future academic success. is 100% educational, with 5,000+ learning activities across all major subject areas-reading, math, science, social studies, art, and music. Best of all, kids love it!

Summer Story Time :  Wednesdays @ 10:30 a.m. and Saturdays @ 2:30 p.m. in July and August.  Our story time is presented by volunteers.  If you would like volunteer to do a story time please call or come to the library and sign up.

We have volunteers through July signed up and hope to have August complete soon.

Summer 2018,  Children’s Reading Club theme is

“Libraries Rock”

The Club starts TBA and ends TBA.  Come in and sign up at anytime after the beginning date.  Adults, please read the instruction thoroughly with your child.

The Adults that bring the children to the library with receive a raffle ticket for Ferry Tickets + (Last summer’s raffle prize was worth over $50.


Parents, please help your children from backsliding in their reading skills in the summer.  Get books in their hands.  Read to them, read with them, have them read to you for 15-30 minutes each day.  It is one of the best things you can do for your children’s future.
