Book discussions are held at the library once a month from September to May. These informal book chats are held on Sunday afternoons at 3:00. Please join us for an interesting, stimulating, funny, or even controversial look at our book of the month.

Summer Story Time :  Weds. and Suns. at 3:00.  Our story time is presented by volunteers.  If you would like volunteer to do a story time please call or come to the library and sign up.  If no volunteer is scheduled, there is no story time.

Knitters and want-to-be knitters get your creative juices flowing and your needles and yarn ready.
January Knit-Off for the 2010 project: Covering Head and Toe!  Hats, Caps, Headbands, Socks, Slippers

Knitters "Knit-Off" Gatherings
It is a time to get together and knit, exchange ideas, and learn something new.  Bring your yarn, needles, patterns, etc. on  Saturdays at 3:00:  Starting with our January 2010 meeting.

Efficiency Maine Kill-A-Watt Energy Detector Kits are available @ your library.  These kits allow you to monitor a home appliance and find out how much the device is costing you each month.  Test your hair dryer, microwave oven, space heater, computer, etc.  Catch the culprits that may be adding to high electric bills.

      The14th Annual Holiday Recipe Exchange is Dec.13, 2010 at 3:00 pm.  Bring your recipe on one side of a paper or card and a sample for everyone to try if possible.  Everyone participating will receive a 2010 Holiday Recipe Booklet.  We will be producing a  Library Holiday Recipe Book  that includes 12 years of delicious recipes that have appeared at our annual event.

    We have a collection of over 20,000 items. A small computer network and several workstations enables circulation, cataloging, and searching to be done simultaneously. We use Follett Version 5.0 Windows based library software on a Microsoft Windows NT4 network. The technical coordinator can usually be found in his office.
